Placed on top of a small hill the site overlooks the client’s farm. The view of the farm was key to the planning of the home. Framing this view are two blocks that hold the enclosed space, kitchen dining in one, an office in another; two bedrooms on the first level. These blocks are connected with a passage that is perforated with a terracotta jali and also houses the main entrance and the staircase to the first level. Attached to this passage is an open dining space designed like a large verandah that overlooks the farm.
